Welcome to The Base out of School Club. We are situated in the grounds of East Ayton School and provide wraparound care for children aged between 4 & 11, attending East Ayton School, but we are happy to consider placements from the local area.

We operate from 8am until 9am and again after school 3.20pm until 6.00pm. We are registered with Ofsted and follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. You can see the latest Ofsted report for the club here.

We provide a snack which varies each evening and a mixed fruit bowl is always available. The current week’s menu is displayed in the club. We cater for special dietary requirements and have implemented a nut free policy.

Play is child-led, with a variety of activities to choose from. Indoor activities include model making, painting, baking, Wii, books, laptops and TV. There is also a ‘chill zone’ for children to unwind after a busy school day. For children who like to ‘run off steam’ our outside activities include cycling, scooters, go-karts (helmets are provided), and lots of different team sports.
